    Muheul Nine Valley (Sudo Valley)
    Muheul Nine Valley refers to the 9 valleys praised by scholar Hangang Jeong-gu (1543-1620) in the mid-Joseon period for wonderful sight of clean water and rocks of fantastic shapes. Of the rivers flowing from Gimcheon to Seongju, the 1st valley Bongbiam, the 2nd valley Hangangdae, the 3rd valley Muhakjeong and the 4th valley Seonbawi belong to Seongju, whereas the 5th valley Sainam, the 6th valley Oknudong, the 7th valley Manualdam, the 8th valley Waryongam and the 9th valley Yongchu Fall belong to Gimcheon. The 7th, 8th and 9th valleys are located in Sudo Valley. The stream drop in Yongchu Fall draws awe from spectators.
  • Muheul Nine Valley Exhibit Hall
    Admiration poems of scholar Hangang Jeong-gu (1543-1620) in the mid-Joseon period are on view, besides explanations and photos of the nine valleys. The beautiful scenery of the nine valleys across Gimcheon and Seongju is provided as a whole.

  • Jangjeon Fall
    There has been a story about the rock above the imposing and splendid stream drop in Jangjeon Fall, engraved with the pattern of go board where a scholar comes down from sky to play go.

  • Jeungsan Sudo Valley Campsite
    The camping ground consists of 27 campsites, with a swimming pool, sports ground and outdoor performance stage. The swimming pool is particularly popular among kids in summer.

    Cheongamsa Temple
    Sat in an untouched nature, the temple was constructed by national monk Doseon in the 3rd year (year 859) of King Heonan in the Unified Silla period. It still has the mystique as a wonder of thousand years and is a home to nuns for learning.

    Sudoam Hermitage
    A wonder of thousand years constructed by national monk Doseon in the 3rd year (year 859) of King Heonan in the Unified Silla period. There are treasure no. 296 Yakgwang Jeonseok Buddha Statue, treasure no. 297 3-story stone pagodas (2nd), treasure no. 307 Seated Stone Vairocana Buddha and corner stone seemingly of stylobate at the time of foundation.

    Mt. Sudosan Recreational Forest
    It offers clean accomodations for family tourists such as Forest Recreational Center and for group tourists such as Forest House and Hill House, besides trails, swimming pools and seminar rooms attracting group tourists for healing.
